How your night gets built
A wedding isn't a playlist. It's a sequence of moments that have to land in the right order.
1. First conversation
Date, venue, guest count, start and end times. We confirm availability and the package that fits.
2. Planning meeting
We write the run-of-show with you: ceremony, cocktail hour, entrance, speeches, first dance, opening the floor.
3. Your music
Your must-plays, your special requests and — just as important — your do-not-play list.
4. Venue sign-off
Access times, volume limits, power and the rules on haze or effects. Settled in advance, not on the night.
5. The wedding day
Early setup, sound check, and a DJ reading the floor instead of running a list from top to bottom.

What couples ask us most
How much does a wedding DJ cost in Montreal?
Our wedding packages start at $1,550 + taxes for 100 guests or fewer and up to 8 hours. Le Classique, at $1,950 + taxes, covers up to 200 guests and 10 hours and adds ceremony and cocktail sound. The photo booth packages are $2,650 and $3,550 + taxes. Every price is on this page.
What's included in every package?
A planning meeting, run-of-show planning for the evening, a black or white coloured setup, professional sound and lighting, and travel and setup within 40 km of downtown Montreal.
Do you cover the ceremony?
Yes, from Le Classique up — it includes ceremony and cocktail sound on top of the reception. If you want ceremony sound added to L'Essentiel, write to us and we'll adjust the quote.
Can we send you our songs and our do-not-play list?
Yes, and we insist on it. Your must-plays, special requests and banned songs go into the run-of-show at the planning meeting.
How far in advance should we book?
Wedding season runs May through October and Saturdays from June to September go first. As soon as you have a date and a venue, ask us — we'll tell you immediately whether it's open.
Do you do dry ice and cold sparks?
Yes, as add-ons: dry ice at $450 + taxes, four cold sparks at $750 + taxes, or both together at $1,050 + taxes. These depend on your venue's rules, and we confirm feasibility with the venue before booking them.
Does the photo booth have to be booked with the DJ?
No. The DJ + Photobooth and DJ + Dual Photobooth packages combine both, but a booth can be added to any DJ package or booked separately. See the photo booth page for all six experiences.
Do you host in English?
Yes. Our team hosts in English, French and Spanish, including when all three are in the room at once.
